missingWrote a review on Nov 22bad managementlack of upgrades
i was treated like just another guest rather than the special someone that i totally am. waking up at 2:15 am to a loud thud could've been avoided if someone actually managed the property. just a suggestion, but a room upgrade or welcome gift would be nice since you can’t count on decent management here. absolutely ridiculous!

the room was super spacious and i loved the view of the shops. having a private bathroom with good water pressure was nice, and the breakfast was delish! also, vic n zak were really friendly and helpful. i could leave my bag after check out, which was cool, and the beach was only a block away!
only thing is, the pub next door can get a bit loud at night and there ain't a reception area, so checking in was a bit weird.

missingWrote a review on Oct 30four-poster bedlack of hot waterthin curtains
The bedroom had a lovely four-poster bed.
I was really disappointed by the lack of hot water in the morning, which made it impossible to enjoy a proper shower after a long journey. I just couldn't get a good night's sleep because the thin curtains let in too much light. To top it all off, I found the check-in process quite confusing since there was no staff present at the hotel itself. I had to do everything at a neighboring pub, which felt rather impersonal.

I loved the huge room with an XL-king size bed. it was very comfortable for my two-night stay. The cleanliness was commendable, although the bathroom needed some attention—it felt a bit dated and the shower could have been cleaner. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet. however, the service on the second morning didn't meet expectations, and the tables could’ve been cleaner. Entering the house with a code was convenient, but it failed on the second day, which was a bit frustrating. The location is a big plus. it’s just a short walk to the beach and pier, making it easy to explore Brighton.

The location was perfect for our family of seven, just a stone's throw from the pier. We made memories riding Volk's Electric Railway and enjoyed the excellent food options nearby. Staff provided solid support during our stay, making it a real treat.
My children wished for a larger dining area for breakfast.

A Cozy Stay with Friendly Service
I had a pleasant experience during my two-night stay. The friendly staff made me feel welcome, even offering complimentary refreshments in my room. Don't miss the amazing breakfast! As a solo traveler, I appreciated the comfortable small double room, just check for noise if sensitive. a comfortable base during my trip!

Couple’s great choice
The owners couldn't be more welcoming like when they surprised us with complimentary Prosecco during breakfast, it felt like a celebration. the room had a mini fridge stocked with drinks that got replenished, very generous, you know.
It wasn’t exactly cheap but it was acceptable given the experience.

It was a strong match for a brief sojourn in Brighton with excellent value for money. The staff was really accommodating when I asked for a parking token, which made things easy. Make sure to check in at the pub next door for any room needs.
